Electromark has provided electrical utilities with trustworthy service and durable safety solutions for 50 years!

During those 50 years we’ve remained committed to being your partner for all your safety and hazard identification needs. To celebrate the occasion, we want to take a look back at how we got to where we are today.
In 1970, Harold Rickles founded the company we know as Electromark. The corporate office and manufacturing facility was located in Wolcott, NY.

Electromark began as the first (and only) manufacturer of 1E certified labels selling to the nuclear power industry. As business and the brand grew, it began to branch out into the rest of the electrical generation and distribution industry with products like signs, labels and tags.
In 2005, Brady Corporation purchased Electromark. Electromark moved its corporate office in 2014 and combined manufacturing capabilities with Brady in Milwaukee, WI.

Being a part of a company with a reputation like Brady’s allows us to bring additional advantages to our customers. Some of those advantages include, more capital to invest in state-of-the-art equipment to improve quality, and exposure to larger product and service offerings.
Although we are a part of a larger company, we’re still a small (but mighty) team. Outside of manufacturing, Electromark currently has 9 team members. Since 1970, we believe that Electromark employees are our greatest asset.

Over the past 50 years, industry standards and technology has changed drastically.
We’ve aimed to give customers what they ask for: products with a long life that actually work. Our mission is to exceed our customers’ expectations, and in doing so, help them save time, money and lives.
We offer high-quality products and unrivaled customer support. We do more than sell high quality, durable signs, labels and tags. We provide expert sales support, innovative R&D and extensive industry knowledge.
Here’s to another 50 years!
