Electromark now offers a line of COVID-19 solutions, designed for both indoor and outdoor usage in mind. These new offerings are key reminders of what to do to help stop the spread of the virus.

We have both standard signage and floor markings available in different materials, colors and sizes.

This blog will highlight the different materials offered to help you choose a solution that is right for you.

All of our standard signage currently being offered on our website is available in the following materials: Aluminum, Polyester and Polystyrene.

The non-reflective Aluminum is recommended for both indoor and outdoor use. If used in an outdoor environment, there is an average expected outdoor life of 5 to 8 years. This material can withstand wind, rain, sunlight and high temperatures (up to 230 °F).

If you’re looking for an option with an adhesive backing, the Polyester option would be the right choice.

Ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, this high performing, pressure-sensitive material is extremely flexible and will conform to most surfaces. Expect this material to last up to 5 to 8 years outdoors and even longer indoors.

Polystyrene is the perfect material for a temporary identification solution. Great for both indoor and outdoor use, this temporary sign will give you excellent chemical and abrasion resistance, making harsh conditions a non-issue. The average outdoor durability of polystyrene signage is 3 to 5 years.

Floor Marking

Our floor marking solutions are available in Polyester or a Rigid Vinyl.

The polyester option is mainly for our floor marking tape. This surface printed polyester has a rigid, clear polyester overlaminate made with high-traffic areas in mind.

The material removes quickly without any damage to the floor. It is incredibly resistant to harsh chemicals. Although a durable material, the polyester floor marking tapes are not recommended for outdoor use.

Rigid Vinyl is a surface-printed, anti-skid vinyl with an embossed rigid vinyl overlaminate.

It can be used to mark aisles, point our protective equipment requirements, or serve as a reminder of social distancing best practices.

Most commonly used for floor safety signs, the rigid vinyl material can withstand heavy foot traffic while alerting employees to important safety information. This material offers excellent chemical, oil and water resistance.
